ClickBank Payout Terms - What Do You Think?
By Kim Celinder
What do you think about these payout terms, are they fair? You can find a link at the bottom to see a better explanation of these terms. It's understandable that they want to make sure people don't just sign up, only to buy from their own affiliate link, and not do any marketing, but they should make these terms much more clear. I think that the point about 5 sales with 5 different cards before you can be paid, would be more fair if they made it to 2 sales with 2 different cards. The worst term they have is that they start to charge money from your account in as little as 90 days with no sales, they could at LEAST wait a year before they even THINK about that. It's not all people that make sales every 3 months, or at least sales from ClickBank, what about them. They should NOT take the money affiliates have earned, I don't see how that should do any good. I have read many places that people was asking for the number to ClickBank about their payout rules, because they wasn't get paid because of those terms, I tried to make a search for their phone number, and came up with some different results (link at the bottom). ClickBanks Terms: I didn't knew if I where allowed to copy & paste the terms so I added a link at the bottom that goes straight to a page with these rules that I mention. ClickBank Phone Numbers: Same thing here, I didn't dare to show the phone numbers here if I was not allowed, but I added a link to the search from where I found them on page one. Please let me know what you think of these rules. PS. I do use ClickBank myself to find products to sell, and sometimes buys. It's a great place for affiliates, they have good payouts, and have good refund politic for buyers/customers.

Contributor's Note
ClickBank is a place where vendors can sell their digital download-able products such as e-books, membership-sites, services and more, and affiliates (or publishers as they call them) can help to sell these products, and then earn from about 50% to 75% of what the product cost.

Definitely not fair. It's crazy to withhold payment on the basis of the payment processing method the customer used! The products offered at ClickBank are mostly useless and/or scams, anyway, and nowadays ClickBank has plenty of competition from better affiliate systems. I'd stay away from ClickBank. They're just too greedy for their own good.
